Pharmacological features: It has the sedative, astringent, bile-excreting, diuretic, anti-microbic, anti-helminth, anti-inflammatory features. It normalizes metabolism and digestion, lowers sugar levels in the blood.
Indication for use: Cichorium herb blew is administered orally inn gastritis, gastroenteritis, hepatitis, cholecystitis (including stone cholecystitis), diabetes, nephritis and worm invasions. It is applied externally in skin rashes, acnes, irritable wounds, eczema and diathesis in children.
How to use: 200 ml of boiling water is poured on 1 teaspoon of the raw material, brewed for 15 minutes, filtered. Administered orally 100 ml (1/2 cups) 2-3 times a day before meal. 20 g of raw material should be diluted with 500 ml boiling water for external application.
